fris-zoete watertjes voor op warme dagen

English version of the recipe (cool-sweet water)

For days that are very hot you can make yourself some water with a nice taste!

- cut one lime in parts or slices and add these to one liter water.
- prepare the water in the morning, so the water has the best taste of the fruit in the afternoon.
- also very nice is to add two handful raspberries or mixed red fruit for a sweet, pink water.

! serve tip: make some ice cubes with little pieces of fruit in it.

Do you have a very small garden, roof terrace of a "big" balcony but you like working in a garden and plant your own vegetables? Than this is a nice do-it-yourself, assuming that you can get your hands on a pallet, but I was that lucky ;-) In a pallet you can plant several plants at the same time and it is cheaper than buying even more flowers pots. Because I wanted this construction to last more than one year, I took the time to polish the pallet and prepare the wood with stain. As you can see on the pictures the pallet has some across staves, the down side looks the same way. See if you can get a pallet like this, not with a close down side, otherwise the water can not drain off as easily and it will rotten more easy. Between the staves in the pallet I tighten anti-root foil. You can buy this at a DIY shop or at a garden centre. Around the pallet we attached some wooden boards so you can't see the anti-root foil anymore and it is sturdy when you fill it with garden mold. Now you can plant your vegetables or flowers! And the good thing of the across staves is that you already have a distance between your plants!
